Quantum of Solace: Mark Forster

Wrecking an Aston Martin in the first two minutes of the movie is the way to go!

With an explosive opening like that all so typical a Bond flick. Hook the viewers and they will stay type. Well that is all that is typical about this movie for a Bond that is. This cold hearted type that Daniel Craig offers is the perfect Bond for the 21 century. Still a gentleman but with an edge that says: Do not mess with him!
However some might find him a little too rigid and a little too made out of steel for their liking as a Bond he still does a very good job. As the movie promised a new era of Bond movies this has certainly showed that the first one was not a fluke.
Mark Forster was still an odd director too choose for this type of movies. If you have seen any of his previous work you might agree "Kite Runner" "Monsters Ball" "Stranger than Fiction" Butt after seeing this movie it is clear that this guy was the perfect pick. Great camera work but the story might need some polishing.For example some fans might be demolished because of the absence of gadgets. One of many fans favorite moments in a classical Bond flick was when Q presented the latest gadgets for Bond and the most important of all a new car. But this was not to be. And I wonder why. Was it because of some disagreement with John Clease the previous Q. One may have to ask the director when opportunity arises.
The story as it is now very interesting at the beginning with paranoia ahd confusion sorry to say was a little bit too easy settled. No bang except for the beginning.

Still with all its flaws it is a nice ride and everybody should join in. All you action seekers will definitely not be disappointed!
